This blog title is one of my 2009 "themes."
Several weeks ago, at dinner with two homeschooling families, I declared, "Junior high is the LAST age at which I would send my kids to school." Two weeks later, Rachel (fifth grade) was enrolled (part-time mind you) at Bowling Green Christian Academy. She goes from 9-10:30 each morning.
I've also seen many, many signs (and maybe at some point I'll start writing them down instead of maintaining them as an accumulating "feeling")that Connor needs to move from homeschool into a classroom. We are probably going to apply to St. John's Academy, making about as big a leap as one could make from homeschool: to a rigorous Jesuit school 30 miles away! For junior high, no less:)
